Care! Love One Another! - 02 Conclusion
Highlights: Time mark: 3:46 1 Timothy 5:8 If anyone does not provide for his own, and especially for those of his household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever. Time mark: 8:56 2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature, the old things passed away, behold, new things have come. Psalms 19:13-14 Also keep back Your servant from presumptuous sins. Let them not rule over me, then I will be blameless, and I shall be acquitted of great transgression. Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in Your sight O Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer. Our new character should portray more of the Spirit of God. Be reliable, be trustworthy. Let what you say, your words, be true. Your spouse shouldn't be calling and saying, "Where are you at?" and you saying, "I'm on a job", and rather you're somewhere at a bar, or at a lounge, at the movies, at the mall, you are somewhere other than where you said you are. That's not being reliable. We're supposed to make sure that we provide for our own, especially in our household. If we don't do that, we denied the faith. We denied the faith because we are not representing who God is through our actions and our deeds. Remember this, let the words of my mouth, the meditations of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, my Lord, my strength and my Redeemer. Your finances, your money, your cell phone, all your emails, all of those things, you need to make sure that they are acceptable unto the Lord. Time mark: 11:33 Proverbs 21:13 He who shuts his ear to the cry of the poor will also cry himself and not be answered. Time mark: 15:41 Galatians 2:10 They only asked us to remember the poor, the very thing I also was eager to do. Time mark: 17:04 James 1:27 Pure and undefiled religion in the sight of our God and Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their distress, and to keep oneself unstained by the world. Time mark: 19:15 Proverbs 19:17 One who is gracious to a poor man lends to the Lord, and He will repay him for his good deed. Time mark: 20:40 Proverbs 11:29-30 He who troubles his own house will inherit wind, and the foolish will be servant to the wisehearted. The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life, and he who wins souls is wise. There's a reward in being compassionate, concerned and loving towards your brethren, your brothers and sisters, there's a reward in that. Let's just keep in mind where God is calling us. Let us keep in mind, the time that God has allowed for us to walk this earth. Every opportunity, you get to meet a person, or have a conversation with a person, make sure that you show forth compassion, make sure that you show for care and concern. This is one challenge that I'd like for you to put into your daily walk and living this life. When someone says, "How are you doing?" and you say, "I'm fine, I'm good." And if you say it back, I want you to ask that person twice, "No really, how are you doing?" And I want you to take more than just a second to hear how that person responds, and then offer prayer. He who wins souls, wins souls wisely. We've got to use wisdom. If you get denied and the person doesn't want to pray with you, just shake the dust off your feet. Pray for them in your heart and keep it moving. It's okay. You did your part. Show love, show compassion, show concern.
