The Importance of Being Made Whole:
Being made whole means that you want to be alright, you don't want to be half standing and what you are doing, whether it's your job, whether it's being a parent, whether it's being a friend, you're in a relationship, you're working on a project, you don't want to give half. You want to give your whole to whatever it is that you are committed to, and in order for that to happen, you have to work on yourself so that you can give your very best.
A lot of us are skilled and talented and we have great things about us, but we're not whole, because we're holding onto things from the past, we're holding on to our hurt, disappointment, we're holding on to trauma, we're holding on to things wherein we don't understand why it happened, we're holding onto why me?
God wants us to be set free from that. And in order to be set free we have to be delivered from the things that bind us. What are the things that bind us, the things that hold us down wherein we cannot give one hundred percent of ourselves to what we have committed to do in life, because our thoughts are bogged down with all of these different things that cause us to be fragmented, where we can not be whole, where we cannot truly give of ourselves the way that we need to, because there have been obstacles created that block us from being all that we can possibly be, living a greater quality of life.
You know, so many of us, we say, "Okay, I'm good, I'm all right, I'm making a good amount of money, this and that, I'm good," but God wants for us to obtain the greater. God has greater things in store for His children. But a lot of us are held back by our own selves, because we have not allowed for ourselves to be delivered, and made whole.

Acts 9:32-35 KJV
And it came to pass, as Peter passed throughout all quarters, he came down also to the saints which dwelt at Lydda. And there he found a certain man named Aeneas, which had kept his bed eight years, and was sick of the palsy.
And Peter said unto him, "Aeneas, Jesus Christ makes thee whole. Arise, and make thy bed." And he arose immediately. And all that dwelt at Lydda and Saron saw him, and turned to the Lord.

God wants to make you whole so that others who look at your life will then themselves say, "Wow, what is it? Or what did you do to get to your place of being whole because now I want to receive the same thing for myself."
The Word of God says,"If I be lifted up", God meaning Himself, "If I be lifted up, I will draw all men unto Me."
Some of us are looking for the attention from man, some are looking for notoriety, you don't have to do that. The only thing you have to do is allow for God to work on you and make you whole, and when others look at how your life has changed for the better, they themselves will then be attracted to you, wherein your lifestyle has caused for them to also turn themselves to the Lord so that they too can be made whole.
This is something that I say all the time: "Salvation is the gift that keeps on giving."
See God saved us, not just for us to be selfish and hold that salvation to ourselves, but it's to help somebody else. But we can't help others unless we have come to the place to say, "Lord, I myself want to be made whole."
Some people are in marriages, and their marriages are constantly up and down, around and round, in-between, marriage takes work. Yes, it does, but when you have two people that are willing, when you have two people that are mentally whole and understanding that it takes to to make this work. There are things that you're going to come up and face with but it's not going to destroy your marriage and your relationship where you fall out and say "I'm done, I don't no longer want this." No, because what two whole people do, is they make a greater hole!

God wants to make you whole, and it can happen! If you have a mind, if you say, "Lord work on me, show me what I need to do. Create me a clean heart. Renew a right spirit in me. Transform my mind. Father, I don't want this anymore. I want to be the best that I can possibly be as you have created me to be. God will honor that and He will show you what to do to work on you, to be made whole!
Mark 5:34 KJV
And He said unto her, "Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole. Go in peace, and be whole of thy plague."

She knew who Jesus was! How bad do you want to be made whole? In her mind, she was like, "Look, all I need to do is touch the hem of His garment." She wanted her healing! How bad do you want your healing? How bad do you want to be made whole? You've got to do whatever you've got to do to be made whole. You can't worry about who's around you, who's in the crowd, you can't worry about this, that, and the other thing. No, you're gonna press in and do whatever you need to do, just like that woman!

Psalm 55:22 AMP
Cast your burden on the Lord [release it] and He will sustain and uphold you; He will never allow the righteous to be shaken (slip, fall, fail).
1 Peter 5:7 AMP
Casting all your cares [all your anxieties, all your worries, and all your concerns, once and for all] on Him, for He cares about you [with deepest affection, and watches over you very carefully].
Unhealthy things come upon those who don't cast their burdens upon the Lord. When people start worrying too much the brain starts thinking weird imaginations. What's happening? You're becoming fragmented. We've got to cast our burdens upon the Lord. Give them to God. Why does He say to cast our burdens upon Him? Because He wants you to be made whole!
In Jesus name be made whole! We have to come to Jesus like a little child. Jesus is our connection to the Father who says, "That's my child. I'm giving him attention. That's my child. I'm showing him love. That's my child. I want him to feel better. I want him to be whole. And I'm letting him know that."
Give it to Him! Give it to God. We're putting band-aids on scars and wounds that we should have let heal years ago!
Let God take off the band-aid. Let God allow for fresh air to be blown upon your life. Let Him anoint you! Let Him fill you. Let Him touch you. Let Him embrace you. Let Him have that relationship with you, that connection.
He wants you to know that you have His attention, and because of that connection, guess what? You have been made whole. I pray that you follow me in the weeks to come as we continue to talk about the delivering power of being made whole through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. God has been better things in store for your life, and whatever it is that's holding you back, He wants you to let it go. Cast it upon Him so that you can be set free and enjoy this thing called life!
