3 Keys to Pentacost

Season #14

Highlights:

Time mark: 2:42

KEY 1 - Pentecost is the Birthday of the Church

Time mark: 5:21

This occurrence that happened on Pentecost, after the Holy Spirit into the room, and after Peter had preached, the apostles no longer look inward, they were filled with the Holy Spirit, the Spirit that Jesus talked to them about, and they looked out and they were able to move ministry forward. The power of the Holy Ghost allows for us to move forward in our lives, to move forward in our careers to move forward in our ministries, to move forward in in our life choices. That is what the power of Pentecost allows when that occurrence happens in our lives. That occurrence that happened in the upper room is that power of Pentecost still in the earth for those of us who understand. We need to make sure that we constantly tap into it.

Time mark: 8:50

We have to understand that it's time to tap into the true power of Pentecost, so that when we allow for the Spirit of God to use us, we are able to walk into the streets, we are able to go into places, and we are able to speak and we're able to declare and decree the things of God, and people will say, "What must I do to be saved?" But we got to do what they did in the upper room. What is that? Get in one accord!

KEY 2 Pentacost Showcases the Trinity

Pentacost showcases the Trinity, the Father, Son, and the Holy Ghost. Believer's theology is grounded in the doctrine that the Three is One. Pentecost was that big moment when the Father sent the Spirit to make the Son of God present. On Pentecost, we teach and celebrate the Trinity. We celebrate the fact that Jesus was the One that gave of Himself. We celebrate the fact that He was the One that commissioned us and charged us to go into all the world. He's the One who commissioned, as told us that we would do greater work! Why? Because He left us with the Comforter. So now we have them operating, all three, the Holy Trinity, Three and One.

Time mark: 12:58

KEY 3 Jesus Kept His Promise!

Pentecost shows that Jesus kept His promise. Read Matthew 28:20. Jesus told His followers,

Matthew 28:20b NIV

"Surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."

John 14:25-27 NIV

"All this I have spoken while still with you, but the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you. Peace I leave with you, My peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid."

When the Holy Spirit moves, Jesus is present through His Holy Spirit. Remember, they are Three in One. It is Pentecost that marks the fulfillment of Christ's promise!

Luke 24:49 KJV

"Behold I send the promise of my Father upon you, but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high."

Time mark: 14:00

When we get together and when we get in one accord, the power of Pentecost can give us a fresh fire to do what we need to do to stir up the gifts on the inside of us to empower us to manifest the Word of God and speak it. To call out and spare not! Sharing the gospel to let all those that have an ear know that God still saves, He delivers, and sets free. He gave His Son so that we can live life and live life more abundantly. All of these things are based on the birth of the church that occurred on the day of Pentecost.

Time mark: 14:49

Jesus said to us that He will be with us even till the end of time. He is with us you are never alone. You are never alone. Don't get give up, don't give in. God has given us things that we can tap into, that can give us the strength that we need to carry on.

You know, sometimes we go through trials and tribulations. We may go through sad moments, we may go through some traumatic occurrences in our lives, but I want you to understand that God is with us every step of the way, because the Comforter, as Jesus told us, He leaves us the Comforter, the Holy Spirit who's here, available to lead us!

If you're looking for the truth, the Holy Spirit is going to lead you right to it. False doctrines are all around us day and night, people are popping up with isms and schisms, trying to get a dollar, trying to convince people, trying to take people's minds over.

The Holy Ghost is not going to do that. He's gentle, like a dove, but powerful to move mountains, and the only thing we have to do is allow Him to come in.

"Know ye not that your body is the temple of the living God?"

So therefore you got to make sure that is swept out clean. How do you do that? You've got to fast, you've got to pray, and you've got to read your word!

Allow the Holy Spirit to dwell on the inside of you so that you never have to worry about whether somebody is lying to you or not, because the Holy Spirit is going to lead you to the truth. So if somebody is around you with a lying, deceitful spirit, guess what the Holy Spirit is going to set the radar off. They're going to bring you into a place of discernment where you're going to understand that's not the truth. This is not for me. This is not what the Lord has, for me.

That's how great our God is. He has left us with a power force. Glory to God, he has left us with a power force so that we don't have to be the tail, but rather the head. So that we don't have to be behind, but we can thrust forward in the things that God is calling us to do.

I encourage you to hold on to God's unchanging hand! Tap into what He has given you, so that you can not just survive on this earth, but that you can live it abundantly!
