Romans 8:24, 15:13
We are saved (healed and delivered) by hope, but hope that is seen is not hope, for what a man sees, why does he yet hope for, (therefore we must take steps of faith),
and the God of hope will fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that you may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Spirit. (KJV)
The Word of God is exciting! It's the hope of God that fills you with joy and peace. The hope of God is going to give you the peace that you need. The hope and God is going to give you the joy that you need.
That's why the enemy wants you to keep thinking about what somebody said many years ago, perhaps when you were 9 and 10 years old, and now your 30, 40, 50, or 60 years old, and you're still thinking, "Oh they said that about me." But God says right in his word that He wants to fill you with all joy and peace, so that you can abound in hope, so that you can keep your home activated. The Spirit of God is on the inside of you!
I've had some bad days. I have some loved ones that I wanted to be around but they transitioned and they have gone on to glory. I had some bad health reports, and I had some situations where I had people around me and in my heart, that I thought I could trust, but I couldn't. But you know what? When I felt like crying the Holy Ghost would come and say,
"I don't need you to shed tears because you're hurt or unhappy, because I have given you are a joy that the world did not give you, and they cannot take it away. I want you to keep your hope in Me! Keep your trust in Me!"
When you keep your hope and trust in God, then something about the Spirit of God on the inside of you, when you feelings are tempting you to get low and depressed, then Spirit of God and say, "Oh no, hold your head up high! Look to the hills, from whence cometh your help", knowing that it's coming from the Lord, the Spirit of God will begin to speak and you must be seeking Him steadfastly in order to hear Him!
Psalms 121:1-3
I lift up my eyes to the hills from where my help comes. My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth. He will not let my foot slip. He who watches over me does not slumber.

We got to get out of this get out of toxic situations. As a science teacher I can tell you that science is understanding how God made things in this earth for us to enjoy. That's what science is. So when people try to pull God out of science, no, God made the world! Science is only us trying to understand it through divine down-pouring of the Holy Spirit, how things operate in our world.
"Demonstrate the signs of the powerful contribution of positive relationships and experiences, to the development of healthy children and adults."
We have observable data that testifies of the power of hope. I gave you scriptures for hope and the acronym for this particular topic of HOPE is Health Outcomes of Positive Experiences.
Positive experiences are going to help us to counter attack the evil spirits and hurtful thoughts that impress upon our mind, seeking to remind us over and over of the adverse childhood experiences that they inspired be inflicted upon us, poking at unhealed wounds, heartaches, and traumas.
This is why we must be disciplined to continue in the Word of God, drawing close to our Healer to be healed, to made whole! As we continue to grow, we can come out of those things that have been holding us back where we had previously not been free in our spirit.
"Reflect upon the positive returns-on-investment that our society can expect as we make changes."
We must be a part of a supportive body. If you were abused as a child, join a society that fights against child abuse, because when you are involved, you are creating an atmosphere to help somebody else, which now is going to sync with you and how you think and build you up, giving you a positive experience to counter attack those things that happened to you. Some of the greatest advocates and activists that we have were people who went through trauma and determined to be overcomers and fought the good fight to be free and renew their strength as led by divine counsel in their mind, displacing the lies of the enemy!

Don't hide in your trauma. Don't feel like you have to shut yourself away from the world because of trauma that you may have experienced. Regarding the very thing that you went through, understand how to activate your hope, so that you can keep your peace and joy as the Holy Spirit will give you inspiration of how to help someone else.
As Jesus was ministering inner-healing to the broken-hearted Samaritan woman at the well, as she had been heartbroken by being rejected over and over again, His disciples came imploring Him, "Master, eat" but He said to them:
"I have food to eat that ye know not of ... My food is to do the will of Him that sent Me, and to finish His work." (John 4:31-32,34) "For the kingdom of God is not food and drink, but righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit." (Romans 14:17)
One of the greatest joys in life is seeing someone blessed by assisting and helping them. It's one of the best feelings in the world. I'm excited about who God is, about what He's done, about what He's doing, and about what He has planned for me that is yet to come!
I know that with all the things going on this world, the hope that God gives us, strengthens our resolve, keeps us in sound mind, and motivates us to continue in His Word becoming all that He has called us to be!
1 Peter 1:13
Therefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ. (KJV)
Prepare your minds for action, keep sober in spirit, fix your hope completely on the grace being brought to you as Jesus Christ is being revealed to you day-by-day! (NASB annotated)
Titus 3:3-7
We ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving diverse lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another, but after,
the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward us appeared, not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy,
He saved us by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Spirit, which He shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour, that being justified by His grace, we should be made heirs according to the HOPE of eternal life. (KJV)
Make sure that you gird up the loins of your mind, which means prepare your mind by the washing and renewal by meditating on the Word of God! Make sure that you cover your mind with the blood, remembering all the benefits His great sacrifice offers you. Keep your mind focused on Jesus, so that He can keep you in perfect peace. Be sober minded, don't partake of the false comforts of drugs and alcohol to escape reality, rather, draw close to Jesus, His Word, and with the assistance of the Holy Spirit, BE HOPE FULL as a good student and disciple of Christ, and create a new, blessed, abundant reality!
Psalm 103:1-5
Bless the Lord, O my soul, and ALL that is within me, bless His holy name!
Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits!
He forgives all my iniquities. He heals all my diseases. He recovers my life from destruction. He crowns me with loving-kindness and tender mercies. He satisfies my mouth with good things so that my youth is renewed like the eagle's!
