The Cup of Covenant and Assignment

Luke 22:42 Saying, “Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done.”

  • The cup represents assignment and covenant

  • Jesus asked for the cup to be removed but ultimately submitted to God's will

  • We must say "nevertheless" and allow God's will to operate in our lives
